I mean we talk about functional medicine which is a systems approach to addressing chronic illness. The looks of the body as an integrated dynamic system and that health is really about creating balance in these systems. It's not really about treating disease per se. And you have now kind of combined that with an approach that's called regenerative medicine, which I see is really more or less the same thing, but more dealing with some of our structural biomechanical issues and pain. So talk about what is regenerative medicine? Okay, so that's a good one. Like I've never thought of defining it like that, but I would define it exactly how you said. It's a systems approach to musculoskeletal medicine. And so then we're looking either from outside all the way in or from inside all the way out. So we're looking at from the level of the bone marrow to the joint to the joint capsule, the menuscus, the fascia that affects how kinetic force moves through the body, nerves, ligaments, intendons, and sort of looking to see, are there any problems at any of those levels? Is there a systemic problem? And then trying to figure out strategically what our targets are in terms of where problems are. And then having a thoughtful approach to addressing any one of those problems with a product that has a potential to hopefully heal those tissues, whether that be a tendon or a nerve or a joint. | ↗ |
