And sorry Just that dog walks to walk their dog somewhere else, relocated nursing mother with cubs is a dumb and dangerous things for both mother and cubs. females don't defend territories like Male bears but have specifical well known home ranges....

The hypocrisy is so maddening. Bet her dog was off leash and threatening her cubs. Of course dog owners are out for blood. But when a dog bites someone, they call it a nip and pretend it didn't happen. They go mad when dogs that have attacked, mauled and killed get scheduled for BE. Why does a dog's life matter above all other living things?

Officials say if you encounter a bear, stay calm and do not run. Instead, back away slowly and give the animal plenty of space.
This is exactly what dogs hate to do. They are space invaders and won't leave wildlife alone.

It was a mamma bear from the wild that had cubs and was just looking to defend them. There are pitbulls that get away with unprovoked attacks that tear children apart. That really sucks for the cubs.

this is from the monrovia city manager. the city council had lobbied to relocate the bear family. fish & game just went ahead & deleted the bear.

it mentions the attack in june 2025. fish & game said it had too many attacks on humans. two, to be precise.
why do we not follow this rule as enthusiastically with maulers?

I really despise this trend of tracking down and destroying wild animals for behaving likeā¦ wild animals. Usually in their OWN fucking habitats.
Of course dog worshippers are going to capitalize off of this. One less beautiful wild creature because some asshole and their walking biohazard went into the forest ānotorious home of bearsā and was surprised to find one.
