This reminds me of the time years ago, when I was young and pregnant, working at a gas station in New Orleans. These two 30-something guys in suits were at my register, and one of them pulled out a $100 bill. He smugly asked me which president was on it.
I smiled and said, “Benjamin Franklin, but he was never President.” The audacity of that man to assume I didn’t know who was on my country’s currency, or who the presidents were!

I just want to clarify one thing for future reference as it’s a point that causes me a bit of anxiety — I do not use ChatGPT or any other LLM to write these!!!
I am fond of em dashes because of how they help grammatical structuring, and am autistic — which actually causes writing to be mistaken as LLM generated — possibly leading to the ‘similarities’ between my writing style and LLMs.
This is a concern for me, as a neurodivergent person, and I want to clarify before anyone may misinterpret my posts. Our subreddit will not allow LLM generated text.
