u/Longjumping_Baby_955I think you look great and the improvements are super noticeable, but more importantly, why is your husband being such a jerk?? You’re worthy at any size or shape and it’s so commendable that you’re trying to better yourself, he should be supporting that95
u/HumanistGoddess<image> My last update.50
u/C0l3yI’ll say what your husband should but won’t. First, I am so proud of you for committing to yourself and your routine! The amount of improvement in texture is honestly blind blowing to me, and I promise I’m not just gassing you up. Your legs look amazing and are a reflection of your commitment so keep it up. Thanks for sharing - I think your photos will give us (me included) a lot of hope. Can I ask what GLP-1 you’re on and at what dose? Have you had any side effects?41
u/mrose8383There is a a huge improvement … but wtf to your husband.19
u/pep0werYou look fantastic. I hope you are proud of everything you accomplished. However you want to say it, lipedema is a condition of your connective tissue. It is extremely unlikely that the texture of your legs will ever be “normal” for whatever that means. Your husband is gaslighting you, he can go eat a dick and fuck off.17
u/FreshPath6271Great results and most importantly great job caring for your health and working on it to make you feel better. I will say what others said your husband needs to refrain from comments like that. Lipedema is a medical condition. More understanding and compassion and less judgement for him needs to be learned. Maybe talking to him about it and teaching can make him have more understanding. Keep up the amazing dedication and work on your health!13
u/jmack619You look great! Your legs look so different from your first two photos. This is really inspiring. Way to go!12

u/HumanistGoddessThanks for the positive feedback guys. I really appreciate all of the positive energy. I am so happy with my results. I can’t wait to post an update in another couple months!! I just asked my husband about his comments and he said “I would never say that” and blamed it on a dream I must have had. It wasn’t a dream. The best revenge is looking good and maybe finding support from others.9
u/Eastern-Activity6700Girl the cringe I just made reading your husband commenting on your body negatively….not ok. You gotta teach him how to communicate effectively…. Your legs look fuxking awesome, it’s not about being perfect it’s about being better and feeling better. Will lippy legs ever look like non lippy legs? Probably not without surgery, but our partners can empower us to soothe that urge to go under the knife (if that’s your preferred choice). My wife only ever tells me how great my legs look and comments on how proud she is for my consistency in conservative treatments. Maybe remind him to focus on compliments and staying positive instead of helping you ruminate about something you’ve already identified you don’t like about yourself.7
u/Alchia79Wow! These are amazing results. I started Mounjaro six weeks ago and haven’t noticed any difference. I also just finished eight weeks of vein ablation and sclerotherapy so hoping to see some improvement once that’s healed up. I am super impressed and inspired. I’ve been afraid to do any kind of HRT. I’m about to turn 47 and my lipedema has really taken off thanks to perimenopause. My legs and arms are just like your before picture. Can you give me a general idea of what you are doing for exercise? I need to start weights, but also have hEDS and some joint pain so squats and anything knee related is hard for me. Thanks! And congrats 🎉4
u/TemporaryAshamed9525Thank you so much for this. We are lipidema twins - I have the exact same legs! I've been on the fence about the GLP but I think this is the sign that I should start!3
u/m33p047Your husband can get bent. 🤣 You look amazing, and as someone with stage 3, I hope to get to where you are one day.2
u/weebeaniesId KILL for your gorgeous legs x2
u/Brilliant-Ad232What an inspiration2
u/Dazzling-End-9575You look amazing and i would be thrilled to have legs that look like yours! Congrats. Do you mind sharing about your GLP experience with side effects? I go to the gym 2-4 times a week for strength training and do lots of walking every day but i feel like it doesnt do as much as i would hope.2
u/SPSKINOmg wow… these are amazing results! You are giving me hope!2
u/Salty_Coast_7214How did you get a glp-1? I, like you, am not overweight my doc won’t give me any2
u/Taylan_KYour legs look amazing, I thought they don't look like lipedema at all until I saw your last update photo. Amazing improvement I must say, I am really impressed. What is the purpose of the testosterone pill? Never heard of that.2
u/Addiegirl79You look AMAZING. 2. F that dumb boy. 3. I would kill for those honeybuns. ❤️1
