It is unlikely the immunity is hereditary. There are already children of immune who are part of the hive. There's no need for some elaborate effort to test this when it's already known from the first meeting of the immune.
The immune are all unrelated to one another. It's definitely something else.

Oh, good, another 'Carol is stupid,' post.
After the initial shock of humanity getting converted I would sit down with the hive to properly discuss the specifics of how the hive works but unlike Carol I would be more thorough; asking questions like: "what happens if two humans give contradictory requests" or "what is the degree of risk the hive is willing to take when it comes to harming life"
What is the point of those? They'd say it depends.
Next I would request one pregnant hiver and impregnate one myself to keep in containment at my base, I would conduct research into curing the hive-infected for the next 9 months. In the meantime I would try to induce two of the 13 immune individuals to start a family among themselves or with me. From there 5 possibilities exist:

2.The hive comes too close to finding a way to infect us before 9 months. In this case I request 200 women within the fertility window to be placed in my prison. Afterward I arrange a meeting with the other 13 humans under the guise of a celebration for a holiday and knock them out using poison or gas during it (this is a very risk endeavour that needs be planned carefully and I may have to personally kill some of the remaning humans). Once the 200 hivers and 13 humans are imprisoned I place the hivers in a medical coma within the prison and scream at one of them until they are knocked out and I keep screaming at them for 3 days straight until all the ones except I kept are dead from dehydration. From there the plan will follow the next possibility.
So it's a fully creepy fetish slave breeder post. Ok then.
Also, the idea that explaining basic genetics will allow you to do genetic research and place people in medical comas and start your own breeding harem is... I give, backing out of the fetish post.

The hive foils me or there truly is no cure. In this case we are boned.
There probably is a "cure" or a way to block the signal, which is what Manousos is working on. A lot of your plans hinges on months, maybe years of prep and work.
Carol only has weeks before they find a way to infect her. They will get you before you can successfully get them. A quicker route that may buy everyone more time, is finding a way to block the infections first, before finding an actual cure.

In order to save my throat I'd probably first try to blast them with a recording of terrifying screams 24/7.
But if it's only face-to-face screaming that riggers their emotional seizures, then I'm not quite sure you could do that alone.
Depending on how long the seizures last, you'd probably have to scream at them every few minutes.
How would you do that for 3 days straight?
You'd have to train yourself to do a polyphasic sleep schedule.
But even with that you'd have to have at least 20 minutes of sleep, any shorter doesn't really work reliably and you'll probably miss wake-ups or have narcoleptic episodes.
Since you need to scream every few minutes, this just wouldn't work.
Are there alternative ways you think you could kill everyone of the hive (except for your prisoners)?

Why not just ask where the best bunker in the world is. One that they couldnt get to.
Take me there. Build a prison cell for me. Ok were going to do segs put these chains on. Wait while i lock down the bunker. Scream at them for hours. Wipe the bastards out. If carol and manus worked in shifts they could go untill most die of thirst.
Demanding terms on day two or three would probably trigger there survival protocols. Maybe you could get some power sharing agreement where they teach you to unplurb some so all plurbs dont die.
